I just wanna cry.
Just watching the 4th showcase clip is enough to make me cry.
My heart is bursting at the seams with pride for them..
What more can i say.
In a way, i am glad i wasnt at the 4th showcase last saturday. I might have just been reduced to a puddle of tears.
I have never been this proud of anyone before.

Finally had the chance to drink my makgoli (korean rice alcohol) n the taste was kinda disappointing at first..
But strangely i kinda like the tipsy n fuzzy feeling that built up in me soon after that.. at least it din smell n taste half as bad as soju. Lol. In fact i got the exact feeling when i first drank beer. The 'i-cant-walk-straight-but-i-am-still-pretty-conscious' feeling. Heh. But rest assured I have no desire to drink til i vomit.. that probably sux. =p
Anyway i think i would wanna try it again.. heh.
Met up with rachel's korean friend today n he treated us to outback steakhouse. Erm.. medium done steak is definitely not for me. Its waay too bloody..i mean i like to see blood but not when i have to put it in my mouth though. Ha. Hmm kinda in a 'slow cooker' mode these days. Feel slightly bad for being rather quiet on the whole but i cant help it! Even for eunjun i took a month or so before warming up.. and i remember kiwon오빠 also said i was too quiet at the first meeting. Oopsie. But right now i really feel like seeing the both of them! Because it really feels assuring to see people you know in an unfamiliar environment.. 보고 싶은데..익숙하기위해 도움이 될 것 같으니까..
Ok think the house-finding is more or less settled. 'Cept for the disgusting payment upfront..

This super duper friendly beer mascot we saw along the way at the hongik stretch. He practically 'took' rachel n me in his arms when we approached him to take a pic. Lol. N yeah its a guy inside. =p

Slept til about 10am this morning before heading off to myeongdong to try our luck cos its supposed to be chuseok holidays today til monday. But the crowd that turned up at myeongdong still gave all 3 of us a headache in the end. -__-
Popped a panadol earlier to curb the throbbing ache. Eek.

Dun remember what the cat was for.. i think some cafe? The second pic was for a shop called 'small lamb' n it was in chinese characters. Hanja maybe? But the lion was just too adorable! Ha though prior to taking this shot i kinda pointed at it from afar n a guy who happened to be standing near it thought i was pointing at him.. Oops.
The baskin robbins cup that i shared with eunjun previously. The small cup is really huge (to me) but he said he could finish it by himself in 30minutes.. oh well hes slimmer than me anyway.
And of cos the samgyupsal..just realised that his arms are always there. Lol. Spoil my pics. =p

Gonna collapse from exhaustion on the very first day im in korea.
Feel extremely apologetic to eunjun cos he was supposed to enjoy himself today.. but ended up imposing on him for almost the whole day for helping us to search for lodging. Argh. Especially when i used to owe him alot at readingtown too for all the tons of help he gave me everytime. Double argh. -____-
Pity i cant be around in singapore to help him with his english just when he needed to brush up on it for his ielts in december. Somehow that always seem like the only contribution i can make for him.
Anyway in the end he still treated me to baskin robbins. 3 flavours! Apple mint.. mint chocolate chip.. and rainbow sherbet. I was actually aiming for my lime sherbet which left a lasting impression on me the first time i tried it in perth. Oooh n there was an extremely cute 'whale cake' there which was made up of an icecream flavour called shooting stars. Hee i thought it was an extremely sweet name for an icecream..n it was so named cos it had the thingy that kinda 'exploded' on your tongue. Cool~~ though it was really kinda too sweet. Lol. He finished the icecream by mixing it altogether to form a yoghurt lookalike. Ermm..
After that, treated him to samgyupsal at this mini samgyupsal restaurant. Ha again something that i had been craving for n i mentioned it to him like more than a dozen times over last time. So nice!! Free flow of my sangchu..the veggie thing used to wrap the grilled meat. I was nibbling on the veggie alone cos i really like the taste of it n he kept laughing cos he said i reminded him of a rabbit. Lol. Oh n we had to don this apron before starting which was kinda amusing too.
Was so stuffed after that i could hardly walk straight. Well also partly cos i was really exhausted by the time. And end up being asked not to drink too much. Lol. I haven even found my makgeoli~
Anyway for the rest of the update of our first day, suffice to say that we are in a major fix because of our lodging n we do need to find a solution to it asap. Sian~~

Went out for lunch with readingtown teachers too. Thanks ingrid n marissa for the lunch treat and all the presents n letters~ n the last gathering was with gahee and tabitha yesterday at bugis.
Ok my internet is really throwing a tantrum today. Keeps on disconnecting! ARgh.
N im too lazy to blog cos packing my luggage + clearing my room is seriously tiring me out.
When im supposed to be mugging for my korean! Oh well.

The days pass faster whenever i do a countdown. Lol.
Anyway just came back from my final tuition lesson and im missing the bois already~~
Spent the last chinese lesson with kyochan teaching him how to play chinese chess cos i bought one set for him to fuel his interest in the chinese culture, and hopefully the language. He kept grumbling the other day that he should be taking international cooking over chinese in SAS. But of cos, his mum didnt allow it. Lol.
What else..
Ahh realised koreans are actually pretty generous souls. I practically worked almost half of my usual working hours in august and i was taken aback upon receiving my payslip cos i got nearly the same pay i had been taking home all this while. On top of that, mrs kang handed me a 100bucks cash when i was about to go and said it was for my airfare. Heh.
And today when i received my tuition pay, kyochan's mum gave me 5 pieces of 10,000KRW which equated to about 66SGD, saying that i can use it to buy nice food in korea. ^^ Lol.
They are really really nice people~~
And its also kinda sad that i got close to gahee only when i was about to leave!! Argh. Went back readingtown yesterday for more than 5 hours to practise korean with her n its a delight talking to her cos she seems so lonely, being all alone in sg n having almost nobody her age to chat with. Ok, not that im her age cos shes only 17. Ha. But as in cos her english is REALLY limited so most of the teachers dun talk to her either. Eh considering that they didnt really talk to eunjun whose english was so much better.. i think she would just end up being neglected most of the time. But luckily, tabitha is around so hopefully gahee wun be so lonely~ 가희야 힘 내~
Ohh n i bought a really cute knitted winter cap!! Ha.

The newest addition to my (neverending) quest for red stuff~
After scouring around for almost 2months, i finally settled on something affordable and i absolutely love the color n design! Though i swear it doesnt look this red on the actual camera but still i fell in love with it when i first laid eyes on it. One of my students was always playing with it in class..
N im still a sucker for korean brands after all.. Lol.

Ok hafta leave immediately cos gahee promised to practise korean with me since mr choi is away in cambodia for the week. Wootz~! Tabitha n me gonna bring the ger around chinatown on friday cos she wanna get souvenirs to send back home..
Ooohh n lucky kiwon오빠 is away in japan for yet another business trip. His company is really good sia..
